I found (eventually) a wonderful balinese/western restaurant, they call it 'western' as the food has English tags, explaining it a bit, theres no plastic take away containers so the food is wrapped in grease proof paper and tied with an elastic band. This is the place that I described in the early blog, that the food here is so delicious I am astounded at how much flavour (not hot or spicy) that they get into a bit of chicken, lemongrass, real coconut and rich spice. Even the rice, looks simple but its cooked in coconut juice (real coconut from the tree not out of a bottle) Plus its so so cheap, only a couple of dollars (tho you must leave a tip). The portions are great 'girl sizes' for a bloke youd have to order a double portion size I think. So unwrapped its chicken, vegetable nasi goreng and a wonderful Spanish style omelette that has tiny tiny bits of potato or yam in it and its so delicious!!!. I just micro waved the 'packet' for 1 min and ate it right off the paper. And no it didn't effect my bsl's! YaY
